Levante and Sevilla shared the spoils in an uninspiring 0-0 draw at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Sunday night.

The best chance of a dull first half fell to the hosts as Alvaro Negredo was denied by some resolute defending from David Navarro.

Both sides again failed to capture the imagination after the break as Negredo's free kick forced Gustavo Munua into the save.

Sevilla nearly won it in the final 10 minutes, but Baba Diawara somehow put the rebound over after substitute Jose Campana's effort had hit the crossbar.
