Uni Emery hails important three points

Sevilla boss Unai Emery claims that his team are now heading in the right direction after making it three wins from their last four with a 5-0 success against Getafe.

Sevilla boss Unai Emery has claimed that his side are now on route to 'restoring their credibility on the pitch' following a poor start to the season.

The Europa League holders did not win any of their first five games in La Liga, but have been victorious in three of their last four, remaining unbeaten in the process.

Saturday's 5-0 win over Getafe moved the Seville side into the top half of the table for the first time this season and Emery has said that his team are now on the right track following a difficult start.

"We've moved one step closer towards restoring our credibility on the pitch. They were three points which needed to stay at home," Emery told reporters.

Next up for Sevilla is a trip to Villarreal next weekend, before they welcome Real Madrid to the Estadio Ramon before the international break.
