Team News: Leigh Griffiths earns Scotland start, Eden Hazard left out of Belgium XI

Leigh Griffiths starts up front for Scotland, while Eden Hazard has been demoted to Belgium's bench in tonight's World Cup qualifier.

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Leigh Griffiths has been handed a starting role up front from manager Gordon Strachan in tonight's World Cup qualifier against Belgium.

Griffiths has got the nod, as well as Celtic duo Charlie Mulgrew and Scott Brown, who will hold the midfield for the Scottish outfit, while Jordan Rhodes has been named as a substitute.

For Belgium, Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard has been named on the bench after suffering a knock during training, while Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen starts in defence.

Everton pair Kevin Mirallas and Romelu Lukaku have also been given places on the bench.

Scotland XI: Marshall; Hutton, Hanley, Martin, Whittaker; Mulgrew, Brown; Snodgrass, Forrest, Maloney; Griffiths
