Jordan Rhodes withdraws from Scotland squad through injury

Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes will miss Scotland's friendlies against the USA and Norway through injury.

Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes has withdrawn from the Scotland squad after picking up an injury.

The forward will miss the upcoming friendlies against the USA and Norway, and has been replaced by Leeds United's Ross McCormack.

The Scottish FA confirmed the news via its official Twitter account, but did not specify the nature of Rhodes's injury.

Scotland will take on the USA on Friday, followed by Norway next Tuesday.
