Christophe Berra withdraws from Scotland squad to play Germany

Christophe Berra pulls out of the Scotland squad to face Germany in this weekend's Euro 2016 qualifier due to injury.

Ipswich Town defender Christophe Berra has withdrawn from the Scotland squad due to injury.

The national side are due to take on world champions Germany this weekend in a Euro 2016 qualifier, but they will be without the defender for the clash.

Ipswich confirmed on their official Twitter page that Berra has been removed from the Scotland squad as a precaution.

Aberdeen's Mark Reynolds was drafted into the fold on Monday due to concerns over Berra's fitness.
