Julian Draxler pleased with arrival of Kevin-Prince Boateng

German attacker Julian Draxler reveals his delight at Schalke 04's signing of Kevin-Prince Boateng.

Julian Draxler believes that the signing of Kevin-Prince Boateng justified his decision to remain with Schalke 04 this summer.

The German had been linked with a number of European clubs in the transfer window, but decided to remain in the Bundesliga.

"You always need time to get used to a new team. I'm convinced I'm at the right club with Schalke," he told FIFA.com.

"We haven't had a great start to the campaign and I was a bit disappointed after the first few games, but I think we took another important step forward after signing Kevin-Prince Boateng. We've got a strong team."

Boateng, 26, signed a four-year deal with Schalke last week.
