Schalke 04 striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has insisted that he is not thinking about leaving the club anytime soon.
Huntelaar made a goalscoring return from a lengthy injury layoff in Schalke's 3-0 win over Hamburg last month before helping them into the top four of the Bundesliga table with a 2-1 victory over Wolfsburg six days later.
The 30-year-old is understood to have a release clause written in to his contract, but he stressed that leaving the club was not in his "plan".
"I still have 18 months on my contract here and I'm just delighted to be back on the field again. All I am thinking about is the second half of the season," Huntelaar told Sport Bild.
"I don't know all the precise details of my contract, but that doesn't play a role anyway. I'm fully focused on Schalke. Leaving Schalke is not part of the plan."
Huntelaar joined Schalke in 2010 and has since scored 81 goals in 122 appearances for the club.
