Rochdale boss Keith Hill is confident that his side can finish in the top six in League Two next season.

Rochdale boss Keith Hill believes that his side have the credentials to finish in the top six in League Two next season.

Hill, who returned to the club in January, has also selected Chesterfield, Portsmouth and Fleetwood Town as teams to watch in the new campaign.

"We're hoping for a top-six finish. There are some good sides in the league - Chesterfield, Portsmouth, Fleetwood - and if we finish above those teams we will be successful," Hill told Sky Sports News.

"We're ambitious, we want to match the ambition of the supporters and we are going to try and please everybody."

Rochdale finished 12th in League Two last season.
