Rennes have been held to a 2-2 draw by Sochaux at home in Ligue 1.

Giovanni-Guy Yann Sio put the visitors in the lead after 21 minutes when he turned in Cedric Bakambu's cross from close range.

That advantage lasted until the 34th minute when Rennes restored parity, thanks to John Boye's header from Julien Feret's delivery.

Sochaux regained their lead 11 minutes after the break, Ryad Boudebouz releasing Sebastien Corchia to shoot home from the right side of the box.

However, Rennes had the last laugh at Stade de la Route de Lorient as Jean II Makoun latched on to Romain Danze's pass and found the target from close range with just two minutes of normal time remaining.
