Gareth Bale appears to confirm Real Madrid stay

Welsh attacker Gareth Bale appears to confirm on Twitter that he will remain with Real Madrid this summer.

Gareth Bale has seemingly denied that he will leave Real Madrid this summer.

The Welshman has struggled to replicate his form from the 2013-14 season this term, with the attacker having been made a scapegoat for a number of the club's supporters.

However, the 25-year-old has insisted that Los Blancos will return stronger next season.

"Not the end of the season we had hoped for, we always want to win trophies!" he tweeted.

"Will be working hard in the off season and looking forward to coming back next season stronger with ‪@realmadrid #HalaMadrid"

Bale, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United, scored 17 goals in 48 games during the 2014-15 campaign.
