Sevilla midfielder Piotr Trochowski is confident that his side can overcome Real Madrid on Wednesday.

Sevilla midfielder Piotr Trochowski has insisted that his side can overcome Real Madrid on Wednesday.

Los Blancos travel to the Estadio Ramon looking to recover from their 4-3 defeat to Barcelona at the weekend, but the German is confident that Sevilla can inflict more damage on the capital outfit.

"We're playing at home so anything is possible," he told SFC Radio.

"But we have to play a good game. We're facing them with confidence, but we're not under any illusions as to how difficult it's going to be.

"But the result depends on us. The important thing is that we know we're a strong team – we have to play our own game though."

"We're in good shape and full of belief, no matter who we're up against. At the moment we're going into every game thinking we can win – a tomorrow will be no different."

All three title rivals are in action on Wednesday evening.
