Barcelona's Gerard Pique says that he is shocked that Real Madrid have only picked up a point so far in the season.

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has expressed his 'surprise' at Real Madrid's poor start to the season but has insisted that Jose Mourinho's side should not be underestimated.

La Liga champions Madrid have only picked up one point in the campaign so far following a 1-1 draw with Valencia and a shock 2-1 defeat to Getafe.

"It's surprising that Madrid has only one point right now, but they could easily go the next 30 games without a loss," said Pique.

"I was very motivated for this season. It couldn't have started better, but La Liga is about 38 games, not about two."

Meanwhile, Barca have a 100% record so far in the league this season.
