Cristiano Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes believes that the Real Madrid forward should get more credit for being "the best player in the world".
Mendes also believes that the Portuguese will go down as "the best player of all time" when he eventually retires from the game.
"He deserves to win the Ballon d'Or. It would be extremely unfair and a lie if he did not win," Mendes told RTP Madeira.
"He's the best player in the world. I believe that when he finishes his career he will be the best player of all time.
"For all that he has done, I believe that things have been unfair on him, he has deserved more acclaim."
Ronaldo has scored 227 goals in 219 games for Madrid since joining the Spanish giants from Manchester United in 2009.
