Sports Mole picks its 11 top performers in Spain following another week of La Liga action.

Barcelona and Real Madrid threw up yet another feast of action as they shared the points in a 2-2 draw at the Nou Camp on Sunday.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo – who else? – were among the goals on a scintillating night, but there is a new star in Spanish football who is refusing to go away.

Radamel Falcao took his tally to eight goals in seven league games as Atletico Madrid beat Malaga 2-1. There were also wins for Athletic Bilbao, Granada and Levante on Sunday.

Saturday also provided a host of entertaining action with Rayo Vallecano, Getafe and Real Betis among those with victories.

Here, Sports Mole picks out the 11 players that made their mark in La Liga this week.

Gorka Iraizoz (Athletic Bilbao)
Iraizoz was in fine form as his side recorded a 1-0 win over Osasuna on Sunday. He made at least three world-class saves to secure all the points for Bilbao.

Juan Valera (Getafe)
The 27-year-old was in inspired form as his side recorded a 1-0 win over Real Zaragoza on Saturday. He was a bundle of energy on the right side of the pitch.
Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid)
The Spaniard was placed in his favoured position of central defence against Barcelona and produced a stunning performance as his side secured a point.
Paulao (Real Betis)
The 30-year-old was on target in his side's 2-0 win over Real Sociedad on Saturday and was a tower of strength in defence. It was a fine performance from the Brazilian.
David Navarro (Levante)
Levante put on a fine defensive display as they beat Valencia 1-0 on Sunday. Navarro was a key part of their success with a powerful performance at the heart of their backline.

Mario Suarez (Atletico Madrid)
The 25-year-old is now regarded as one of the most talented midfielders in Spain and showed why with a fine midfield performance against Malaga on Sunday.
Gonzalez Oscar (Real Valladolid)
The 29-year-old is one of the most underrated players in Spain. He scored in his side's 1-1 draw with Espanyol and was full of energy in an inspired performance.
Sami Khedira (Real Madrid)
The German has attracted a host of criticism this season, but he was brilliant against Barcelona as he shackled the threat of Xavi and Cesc Fabregas in midfield.

Lionel Messi (Barcelona)
The Argentine striker scored twice and caused havoc in Sunday's clash with Real Madrid. His second goal was just delightful as he bent a free kick past Iker Casillas and into the top corner.
Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)
The Ronaldo versus Messi debate continues as Ronaldo struck twice to gain his side a point at the Nou Camp. That is now eight goals in his last three games.
Radamel Falcao (Atletico Madrid)
But for Messi and Ronaldo, the Colombian would be the best striker in La Liga. He took his tally to eight goals in seven league games with another goal against Malaga.
