Reading are reportedly looking to sign centre-back Anton Ferdinand, who recently joined a club in Thailand.

Anton Ferdinand has reportedly been made a transfer target of Championship side Reading.

The 29-year-old only joined Thai club Police United last month on a two-year contract.

However, Reading's interest could tempt the centre-back into making a return to England ahead of the new season, according to The People.

The former England Under-21 international started his career with West Ham United, before having spells with Sunderland, Queens Park Rangers, Bursaspor and Antalyaspor.
