The stalemate relegated both teams to the Championship, but Roberts has insisted that Reading will be "ready" to respond next season.
"Reading fans, stuck with the Boys yesterday!! We are GUTTED now... but next season, we will be READY!!" he tweeted.
Roberts, who joined from Blackburn Rovers in 2011, has made 12 appearances for the Royals this season, scoring one goal.
