Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt has revealed that he is eager to join Marseille.

It was reported on Saturday that the Championship club are considering sending the Moroccan international out on loan this summer.

"The club of my heart? OM," Taarabt, 24, told Le Parisien. "I have not had a direct contact, but my friend Joey Barton has told everyone at the club about me.

"If OM want me, I'm going. My sisters still live in Marseille. This is the first club I supported."

Taarabt joined QPR from Tottenham Hotspur in 2011.
