Queens Park Rangers announce that striker DJ Campbell has joined Blackburn Rovers on an emergency three-month loan.

Queens Park Rangers have announced that striker DJ Campbell has left the club on a loan deal to Blackburn Rovers.

The 31-year-old was expected to depart from Loftus Road in the January transfer window but a move failed to materialise.

Despite the winter window being officially shut, the emergency loan market has opened, which has allowed Campbell to sign for the Championship side until May 12.

The R's have confirmed that they have a recall clause in the contract should they need to activate it.
