QPR boss Mark Hughes insists that he is not concerned by Joey Barton's use of Twitter.

Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has insisted that Joey Barton's presence on Twitter is not a problem for him.

The Rangers captain recently criticised former boss Neil Warnock on the social networking site.

Asked whether the midfielder's tweets were a cause for concern, Hughes said: "No, not at this stage. Joey understands what happens in the dressing room stays there and I don't think it will be a problem.

"If ever I felt that it was going to compromise us then we'd have a conversation and talk it through, but certainly I haven't felt the need to do that up to this point."

The Loftus Road club host Chelsea in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
