Charlie Austin confident of Queens Park Rangers resurgence

Charlie Austin is confident that QPR will only get better following Monday's victory over Aston Villa.

Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin has insisted that the team will only get better following their 2-0 win over Aston Villa.

The R's moved to within two points of safety in the Premier League table on Monday night as Austin found the net twice to earn his side the victory at Loftus Road.

After suffering a dramatic 3-2 defeat to Liverpool last weekend, Austin admits that confidence is now high among the QPR squad.

"Everyone's very happy because we won. It's different to last week for sure," he told the club's official website. "I think we will continue to get better. Every day we are working hard to get us out of this position. I believe we can."

QPR are back in Premier League action on Saturday when they travel to Stamford Bridge to face leaders Chelsea.
