Andy van der Meyde hails Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Former Netherlands international Andy van der Meyde hails the talent of Paris Saint-Germain forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Former Netherlands international Andy van der Meyde has claimed that Paris Saint-Germain forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic is alongside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of talent.

Messi and Ronaldo are widely seen as the best two players in world football, but Van der Meyde, who played with Ibrahimovic at Ajax, has said that the Swede is equally gifted.

"Ibrahimovic is one of the best players in the world with Messi and Ronaldo," Van der Meyde told Goal.com.

"He is such a big and strong guy. He can be an intimidating figure. Plus he has amazing technique as well for someone with a big body like his.

"He's the type of player who wants to win at all costs. He is arrogant, but that's him. It's a positive sort of arrogance if you ask me. He is a true great."

Ibrahimovic will return to former club Ajax in the Champions League on Wednesday.
