Half-Time Report: Preston North End, Ipswich Town level

Preston North End are holding Championship side Ipswich Town at half time.

Preston North End and Ipswich Town are drawing 0-0 at half time in their FA Cup third-round replay tonight.

It was an even start at Deepdale, but Ipswich had the game's first chance when a cross by Paul Anderson was headed into the arms of Declan Rudd by striker Frank Nouble.

Despite Preston gradually getting more of the ball, the Tractor Boys continued to carve out the better opportunities, and Ryan Tunnicliffe fired over the bar from the edge of the area after Stephen Hunt's corner was cleared.

The home side were comfortable on the ball but struggled to find a way past a solid Town defence. Chris Humphrey hit a dangerous ball into the box, but Scott Loach got up well to gather.

Good play by Hunt and Jay Tabb eventually found Nouble, but his shot was deflected wide for a corner.
