A report claims that Cheltenham Town are preparing to re-sign Port Vale winger Ashley Vincent this summer.

Port Vale winger Ashley Vincent has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Cheltenham Town.

The 28-year-old, who initially departed Cheltenham in 2009, scored seven times during Vale's League Two campaign last season.

However, according to Sky Sports News, the experienced winger has failed to agree a new contract with his current club, who will play League One football next season.

Vincent began his career with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
