Goalkeeper Charlie Horton leaves League One side Peterborough United on a free transfer.

Charlie Horton has had his contract with Peterborough United cancelled by mutual consent.

The 18-year-old goalkeeper, who had previous trials with Manchester United and Chelsea, joined the League One outfit during the summer.

However, the American failed to make an appearance for the senior side under Darren Ferguson's management, which has resulted in his release.

Horton is now free to join another club.
