Team News: Darren Ferguson names unchanged Peterborough United team

Darren Ferguson has opted against tinkering with a winning formula by naming an unchanged team to the side that have won their opening three games thus far.

Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson has elected to field an unchanged team for their visit to Tranmere Rovers in League One today.

Posh are vying to equal a 52-year record by winning their opening four games of the league campaign for the first time since 1961, prompting the 41-year-old to opt against tinkering with a tried-and-tested system ahead of the visit to the North West.

Meanwhile, Rovers boss Ronnie Moore has made two changes to the team that lost 2-1 to Crewe Alexandra last week.

The suspended Danny Holmes drops out of the side in favour of Andrai Jones, who will make his full debut after joining the Superwhites on a month-long loan deal from Barnsley.

Midfielder Abdulai Bell-Baggie also comes into the fold at the expense of Joe Thompson, while Ryan Lowe and Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro continue in attack for Rovers.
