Parma see off Torino

Parma beat Torino 3-1 in their Serie A match at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

Parma have come from behind to claim a 3-1 victory over Torino in their Serie A meeting at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

Torino took the lead when Matteo Darmian delivered a low cross that Ciro Immobile met at the back post to slide into the net.

The home side equalised in the 34th minute through Marco Marchionni, who was picked out by Mattia Cassani on the edge of the area, before side-footing a well-controlled volley into the net.

On the stroke of half time, the hosts took the lead, as Alessandro Lucarelli arrived at the near post to flick Nicola Sansone's corner into the net.

Jonathan Biabiany wasted a good chance to score for the home team, but after picking the ball up in the box, he fired his effort straight at the keeper.

In the 70th minute Parma made sure of the victory with their third goal of the afternoon. Marchionni picked out Amauri, who spun past his marker and slotted the ball into the corner of the net.
