Nuremberg announce loan signing of Crystal Palace midfielder Jose Campana

Crystal Palace midfielder Jose Campana completes a loan move to Bundesliga club Nuremberg, with a view to a permanent deal.

Crystal Palace midfielder Jose Campana has completed a loan move to Bundesliga club Nuremberg, with a view to a permanent deal.

The 20-year-old arrived at Selhurst Park from Sevilla last summer, but has not played for the first team since the 4-1 home defeat to Fulham in October.

A statement on the official Nuremberg website said: "Jose Campana has moved on loan until the end of the season from English Premier League club Crystal Palace.

"At the same time the two clubs have agreed a purchase option for the midfielder, whose contract at Crystal Palace is until June 30, 2017."

The German club are currently second from bottom in the Bundesliga.
