Nottingham Forest closing in on Michael Mancienne?

Former Chelsea defender Michael Mancienne is reportedly close to signing for Championship side Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham Forest are reportedly on the verge of signing Hamburg defender Michael Mancienne.

The Championship club are believed to have agreed a fee in the region of £1.5m with their German counterparts for the former Chelsea defender.

The centre-back held talks with manager Stuart Pearce in London yesterday afternoon, where personal terms were agreed, according to The Telegraph.

Pearce worked alongside Mancienne, who will undergo a medical at the City Ground today, during his time in charge of the England Under-21 side.
