Joel Lynch scores an injury-time goal to earn Nottingham Forest a 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion.

A late goal from Joel Lynch earned Nottingham Forest a 1-1 draw over Brighton at the City Ground this afternoon.

The home side dominated the first half but failed to turn their pressure into goals against a resolute Brighton defence.

The second period was a much more even affair and Gus Poyet's side broke the deadlock.

Sam Vokes scored Brighton's goal with an accurate header from a dangerous Vicente cross.

Brighton's task of holding on to their slender lead was made much harder as substitute Matt Sparrow was dismissed after receiving two yellow cards.

Deep into injury time Dexter Blackstock produced an inviting delivery which Lynch fired home to earn a point.
