Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has revealed that he hopes to sign Leeds United striker Luciano Becchio by Thursday's transfer deadline.
The Argentinian recently put in a transfer request at Elland Road and he could now join the Canaries in a deal that would see Steve Morison move the other way.
"The clubs are in discussion and that's one that I hope gets done," Hughton told Sky Sports News.
"Whether [Morison] has to be part of the deal or not, I don't know. That's what the talks are."
Becchio has scored 19 goals in all competitions for Leeds this season.
