Half-Time Report: Bradley Johnson gives Norwich City the advantage

Norwich City go into the break 1-0 up against 10-man Watford thanks to Bradley Johnson's fine strike.

Bradley Johnson's fine strike has given Norwich City the lead going into half-time of their Championship clash with 10-man Watford this afternoon.

An explosive start to the match saw Joel Ekstrand sent off for an elbow on Nathan Redmond just two minutes into the game.

Referee Paul Tierney then had to step in following an altercation between Redmond and Watford wing-back Daniel Pudil.

Redmond was heavily involved throughout the half and dragged a free kick just wide before coming close from long range as the hosts looked to make their man advantage count.

After a spell of sustained Norwich pressure, Johnson was eventually the man to get the goal, curling home with his left foot from outside the box.
