Winger Ishmel Demontagnac is released from his contract at League Two side Northampton Town.

Northampton Town have terminated the contract of winger Ishmel Demontagnac.

Demontagnac, who joined the Sixfields outfit in 2012, made 33 appearances during his first season with the club.

However, the former Walsall man has featured just seven times since the start of October, and new boss Chris Wilder has handed him the opportunity to find another club.

The Cobblers are currently sitting six points adrift of safety at the bottom of the League Two table.
