Manager Peter Schottel leaves Rapid Vienna

Rapid Vienna manager Peter Schottel leaves the club after losing to a regional side in a cup quarter-final.

Rapid Vienna have parted company with their manager Peter Schottel.

The club have won just one of their last 10 games in the Austrian Bundesliga and are 20 points behind leaders Austria Vienna.

Schottel was sacked by the club following a cup quarter-final defeat to regional league side Pasching on Tuesday.

He has been replaced by reserve team coach Zoran Barisic.
