Le Havre's El-Hadji Ba keen to make England move

El-Hadji Ba says that he would one day like to sign for an English club amid reported interest from Newcastle, Sunderland and Wigan.

Le Havre midfielder El-Hadji Ba has revealed that he would like to one day prove his worth in the Premier League.

The France Under-20 international, who was linked with a switch to Tottenham Hotspur last year, is thought to have attracted interest from Sunderland, Newcastle United and Wigan Athletic.

"I want to improve, and it is very good to hear that clubs have been scouting me," Sky Sports News quotes Ba as saying.

"I would love to play in England one day. If teams have a good enough offer, then [Le Havre] will let me go."

Ba also claimed that he wants to emulate former Le Havre player Paul Pogba's career, which has taken him from Manchester United to Juventus.
