Newcastle United striker Emmanuel Riviere is selected to lead the line for the Magpies' Premier League clash against Burnley at St James' Park.

Newcastle United caretaker manager John Carver has selected striker Emmanuel Riviere up front alongside Ayoze Perez for the Magpies' Premier League clash against Burnley at St James' Park, as Papiss Cisse begins a three-match suspension.

In addition, central defender Steven Taylor returns in place of Mike Williamson, with Carver experiencing no new injury problems.

Burnley are unchanged for the sixth game running, as Matt Taylor, Michael Duff and Stephen Ward remain on the sidelines.
