Newcastle United manager Steve McClaren: 'We must take our chances'

Steve McClaren urges his Newcastle United players to become more clinical, having lost their last four games 1-0.

Newcastle United boss Steve McClaren has urged his players to improve their finishing in front of goal ahead of Manchester United's visit to St James' Park tomorrow night.

The Magpies are widely considered to have dominated the majority of their last four matches, yet they have lost each of them 1-0.

Speaking to reporters this afternoon, McClaren said: "Everybody who has watched us recently, we've controlled games and normally you win those. It's unfortunate but we have to solve it.

"We've been in every game and had a chance of winning them all. But we've not taken our opportunities. It's a fine line."

Newcastle have lost their last three home games against Man United.
