Netherlands defender Bruno Martins Indi has been stretchered off during his side's World Cup encounter with Australia in Porto Alegre.

The 22-year-old fell awkwardly on his neck following a collision with Tim Cahill towards the end of the first half.

The Dutch camp has yet to confirm the severity of the youngster's injury.
