Napoli forward Eduardo Vargas is reportedly on his way to London for a medical with Queens Park Rangers.
The 24-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Valencia, has been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Sunderland in recent days.
However, it is understood that the R's have stolen a march on their rivals and have indeed agreed a fee with Napoli for the transfer of the Chilean international.
According to Goal.com, Vargas is currently travelling to London, where he will undergo a medical with QPR before signing a long-term deal.
Vargas impressed for his country at this summer's World Cup.
