Team News: Napoli make wholesale changes for Roma

Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri makes nine changes from the Europa League on Thursday for the game against Roma in Serie A.

Napoli have made nine changes from the Europa League victory against Legia Warsaw for the visit of Roma in Serie A.

Pepe Reina returns in goal, while Elseid Hysaj, Raul Albiol and Faouzi Ghoulam all come back into the defence.

Allan, Jorginho, Marek Hamsik, Jose Callejon and Gonzalo Higuain are all in the starting XI, knowing that a win would put them just a point behind league leaders Inter Milan.

Rudi Garcia makes just one change from the side that drew with BATE Borisov in the Champions League, with Mohamed Salah coming into the side in the place of Gervinho, who has a muscle problem.

Roma are still missing captain Francesco Totti, Vasilis Torosidis and Kevin Strootman through injury as they head into this game knowing that a win will lift them above their opponents into third in the Serie A table.

Napoli: Reina; Hysaj, Albiol, Koulibaly, Ghoulam; Allan, Jorginho, Hamsik; Callejon, Higuain, Insigne
Subs: Gabriel, Rafael, Strinic, Henrique, Valdifiori, Maggio, Mertens, David Lopez, Chiriches, Dezi, El Kaddouri, Chabolah
