Half-Time Report: Ten-man Bastia level with Nantes

Bastia have Yannick Cahuzac sent off but they remain goalless with Nantes at Stade Armand Cesari.

Bastia have made it to half time still goalless with Nantes despite being reduced to 10 men late in the first 45 minutes.

Both teams created opportunities in the opening five minutes but neither hit the target as Yacine Bammou and Ryad Boudebouz tried their luck from distance for their respective sides.

Nantes defender Chaker Alhadhur also drove an effort high into the stands as chances continued to be few and far between at Stade Armand Cesari.

The two teams picked up a booking each but that was as eventful as the action got up until the half-hour mark, when Issa Cissokho fired straight at the goalkeeper from eight yards.

Six minutes before the break, Bastia were reduced to 10 men after Yannick Cahuzac was sent off for a foul in the penalty area, but Alhadhur saw his spot kick well saved to see the two teams remain goalless at the break.

Evian's Argentinian forward Marco Ruben is congratulated by teammates after scoring during their French L1 football match against Ajaccio on February 1, 2014
