Millwall midfielder Nicky Bailey is expected to miss the team's Christmas fixtures due to a knee injury.

The 29-year-old sat out Tuesday night's 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest in the Championship after suffering ligament damage in training last week.

"The treatment room is quiet at present with Nicky Bailey the only player who is injured," Millwall physio Bobby Bacic told the club's official website.

"Nicky has suffered a knee ligament injury and is currently doing light indoor rehab as he in the early stages of his rehab programme."

Millwall continue their Championship campaign on Saturday when they host Wigan Athletic.
