Steve Bruce takes in-form Hull to the Riverside to take on Tony Mowbray's Middlesbrough, with both sides aiming for a third successive league victory.

Promotion contenders Middlesbrough and Hull City lock horns at the Riverside on Tuesday night, level on points in the Championship playoff places.

Both sides secured important victories this weekend by narrow margins.

Hull needed a last-gasp winner from German striker Nick Proschwitz to defeat lowly Ipswich Town, while Boro moved above Brighton thanks to a goal from Marvin Emnes.

Steve Bruce introduced Proschwitz with twenty minutes to play against Ipswich and could hand him a place in the starting 11 after he scored his first goals for the Tigers to earn three crucial points.
