Schalke 04 enter Danny Ings race?

Schalke 04 reportedly join Manchester United and Liverpool in the battle to sign Burnley striker Danny Ings.

Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04 are the latest club to have been linked with a summer move for Burnley striker Danny Ings.

The likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Real Sociedad and Borussia Monchengladbach have all recently been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old, who will become a free agent at the end of the season.

However, Schalke boss Roberto Di Matteo is also keen on the centre-forward, with talks potentially taking place soon, according to The Mirror.

Although he is expected to leave Burnley, it has been suggested that Ings is in no hurry to make a decision over his future.

The England Under-21 international has scored nine goals for the Clarets this term.
