James Rodriguez eager to stay at Porto, reject Manchester United

James Rodriguez claims that he is unaware of interest from Manchester United and is keen to stay with Porto.

Porto midfielder James Rodriguez has stated that he is "happy" to remain at the Portuguese outfit and has no intentions of moving to Manchester United.

The former Premier League champions are believed to be considering a bid for the 20-year-old but the Colombian playmaker has insisted that he is unaware of any interest.

"I want to stay with FC Porto," Rodriguez told Ojogo. "I am happy and very pleased to be able to continue with the club. When the news came out about Manchester United, I knew nothing of it.

"I am looking ahead to next season and have a lot of expectations. I want to win more titles here. I will also have more duties and responsibilities next season."

Some reports have claimed that the Red Devils are willing to fork up to £20m for the midfielder.
