A report claims that Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha wants to join Newcastle United on loan.

Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha reportedly wants to join Newcastle United on loan.

The England international joined the Premier League champions from Crystal Palace in January, but did not link up with his new side until the summer.

He has struggled to break into David Moyes's first team thus far this season, with the attacker having no involvement with the senior side since starting the Community Shield at the beginning of August.

A number of clubs have tried and failed to sign the 20-year-old on loan, but according to Goal.com, Zaha has earmarked Newcastle as his favoured destination should United sanction a loan.

Zaha has not travelled with the United squad for their Champions League clash with Shakhtar Donetsk this evening.
