Manchester United will reportedly bid £15m for Southampton defender Dejan Lovren when the transfer window opens in the summer.

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a £15m bid for Southampton defender Dejan Lovren.

The Red Devils are expected to be looking into defensive options in the summer market due to the impending exit of Nemanja Vidic.

According to The Metro, it is believed that United will test Southampton's resolve after manager David Moyes alerted his interest in Lovren to the board at Old Trafford.

Widespread reports have claimed that Moyes, whose future has been in doubt, could be handed more than £100m to spend on players at the end of the season.
