Manchester United reportedly step up their chase for Inter Milan centre-back Andrea Ranocchia.

Manchester United are reportedly ready to step up their interest in Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia.

The Italian centre-back is also said to be attracting interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.

However, Red Devils manager David Moyes is keen to bolster his defensive options and Ranocchia tops the Scot's list, according to The Express.

The Nerazzurri are said to be looking for around £21m for the 25-year-old Italian international.

United have already added Uruguayan defender Guillermo Varela to their squad this summer, after the 20-year-old signed on a five-year deal last month.
