Manchester United will reportedly offer defender Phil Jones a new contract following his impressive end to the season.

The Red Devils will keep the England international at Old Trafford until 2018 and will boost his weekly wage to £75,000, according to The Mirror.

Jones has proved to be invaluable to United during their surge to the Premier League title, showing his versatility playing in central defence and midfield.

The 21-year-old has made 21 appearances for Sir Alex Ferguson's side this season in all competitions.
