Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will reportedly watch Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski against Manchester City tonight as he ponders whether to sell Nani and Javier Hernandez for the Poland international.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson will reportedly be keeping a close eye on Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski in tonight's Champions League clash against Manchester City.

The Poland international was originally linked with a switch to Old Trafford during Euro 2012 but the 24-year-old remained in the Bundesliga following the close of the transfer window.

It is understood that the Scottish boss is considering selling winger Nani and forward Javier Hernandez to raise funds for a potential deal next summer, according to The Telegraph.

Lewandowksi is expected to start for the German champions against the Premier League winners tonight.
