Rumoured Manchester United target Jadon Sancho will remain a Borussia Dortmund player next season, according to the German club's sporting director Michael Zorc.

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has told Manchester United that they have no chance of signing Jadon Sancho this summer.

The Red Devils have reportedly made the England international their prime target ahead of next season and are willing to pay up to £80m.

Sancho has been a huge hit at the Westfalenstadion since joining from Manchester City in 2017, playing a direct part in 23 Bundesliga goals across 37 appearances.

Zorc has dismissed suggestions that the 18-year-old could be on his way back to the Premier League, however, telling Sport Bild: "Jadon will play for Borussia Dortmund next season and we are definitely planning with him.

"I am far from putting a price tag on Jadon, but I maintain that his transfer would be hard to beat even for the biggest clubs in the world at the moment."

Sancho has won three caps for England at senior level and is part of their squad for the upcoming games against Czech Republic and Montenegro.
